Following his venture into railway poster art with the Mighty Bridges of Newcastle upon Tyne, Alan decided to fill another gap with his 1960s-style representation of Ribblehead viaduct on the world-famous Settle-Carlisle line.
Having lived in Ingleton, Alan was inspired by the timeless beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and the mid-afternoon shadows emanating from the wonderful splendour of this magnificent Victorian structure.
We've chosen a frame we think suits the work, and provided you with two images of this framed print in a standard size, so you can see how it will look on your wall. One is slightly 'warmer' looking; one is slightly more 'cool' looking, to reflect the different temperatures of light you might have in your home.
